However, a recent revelation by Amaky Dede has surprised and sparked discussions in the music industry. The Highlife legend expressed regret for crowning the Angela hitmaker as the king of Highlife.
In a recent interview on Asaase radio, Amakye Dede openly expressed his regret for crowning Kwame Eugene. He admitted that his decision was influenced by a group of people.
During the interview, Amakye Dede was asked by the host about what Kwame Eugene has done in the music industry to deserve the crown and what really made him crowned him.
“Though I did that, but it was not my will to do that, but they forced me that I have to crown the young man, and that is the reason why I did that. The crown they gave to me for the coronation, I gave it to someone to put it down. It was later they told me I had to crown him, so I did”.
