Nigeria star singer, Tiwa Savage was invited to perform at the coronation concert of the New King of England, King Charles III.
The coronation which took place on Saturday, 6th May, 2023 was a beautiful one and was braced by many dignitaries worldwide to support. King Charles III and his wife Camilla, were crowned the new king and queen of England.
The coronation concert followed the next day, Sunday at Windsor Castle, England. In attendance, over 25,000 people were present. The concert, organized by BBC had about 20 million views worldwide.
Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage had a lifetime opportunity to perform on stage with two side ‘Bata’ (Talking drums) drummers which made her performance an exclusive one. She represented the African continent and her country Nigeria, very well and made the audience love her the more.
A first ever performance made by a Nigerian artist to perform on a a bigger platform, a royal coronation.
Tiwa, performed one of the songs recorded with Mr. Eazi and had a feature on Beyounce’s “The Lion King” album. Her performance got the audience’s eyes glued to her with cheers and joy.
Ghanaians are congratulating her for the bigger platform and wish her well for more and better opportunities to come whiles Nigerians are proud of her for lifting the flag of Nigeria high.
