How to view your Saved Passwords on Google Chrome for Windows, Mac, iPhones, and Android

Remembering passwords is not an easy job for most people. Most of the time, internet users prefer they saved all their passwords on their devices or Google Chrome. It is a very convenient approach to remembering your logins for people like me who easily forget their usernames or passwords when trying to log in to a website. 

That is why Google Chrome, the world’s favorite browser, has devised a plan to help internet users easily save, manage or retrieve their usernames or passwords whenever they want it.

Today, in this tutorial, we will look at how to use Google Chrome to view the list of all your saved passwords on your Android, iPhone, and even windows 10 PC. 




How to view my Saved passwords list on Google Chrome for iPhone & Android

Time needed: 1 minute

With any Android or iPhone you are using, kindly follow these steps to view the list of all your saved passwords on your Google Chrome.

  1. Open your Google Chrome browser on your iPhone or Android.

  2. On your iPhone, Tap on the three(3) dots at the bottom right corner, & on Android, tap on the three(3) dots at the top right corner.

  3. Tap on Settings.

  4. Then select Passwords.

  5. You will see a list of all usernames & passwords you’ve saved with Google Chrome. Tap to select the website you want to view its password.

  6. To view your saved password, tap on the “eye” icon.

  7. On Android or iPhone, you will be required to enter your PIN, Passcode, or Face ID to authenticate.

  8. Now you can view or copy the password of the website you want, tap the “eye” icon to hide the password again.

How to view my Saved passwords list on Google Chrome for Windows 10 Desktop, Mac OS, Chrome OS

To view your saved Chrome passwords on Windows 10, and macOS:

  • Open your Google Chrome browser on your Windows 10 Desktop, Mac OS, or Chrome OS.
  • Tap on the three(3) dots at the top right corner.
  • Scroll down and select Settings from the drop-down.
  • On the left side of your screen, click on Autofill and select passwords to view Google Chrome passwords manager.
  • A list of all passwords and usernames you have saved will appear here, along with its corresponding website.
  • Click on the eye icon next to the passwords to view the password of that specific website.
  • You will be required to enter your device password to authenticate your device. After that, the website password will be shown. You can copy the password. Click the eye icon again to hide the password.

How to automatically save passwords to Google Chrome

If you want Chrome to automatically save website passwords, follow these steps:

  • Launch your Google Chrome app on your mobile or PC.
  • Tap on the profile icon and
  • Click on the key icon.
  • Toggle on the offer to save password button.

Your passwords will now be automatically saved to Google Chrome when you accept them.

How to delete or remove saved passwords on Google Chome on Android and iPhone

Here is how to delete a saved password on Google Chrome on your iPhone or Android.

  • Launch your Google Chrome App.
  • Navigate to Settings >> Passwords
  • Tap on the Saved website password you want to delete.
  • On iPhone, tap on Edit, and delete will appear at the bottom. Tap delete to remove the password.
  • On Android, tap on the bin icon at the top to delete the password.

How to delete or remove saved passwords on Google Chome on Desktop Windows 10, Mac OS

Here is how to delete a saved password on Google Chrome on your Windows 10 PC or Mac OS.

  • Open Google Chrome on your PC.
  • Click on the three(3) dots at the right top corner, and navigate to Settings.
  • Click on Autofill >>Passwords
  • Google Chrome password manager will appear with a list of all passwords.
  • Click on the three(3) dots after the eye icon.
  • You can now edit or remove passwords from Google chrome passwords.

NB: Kindly note that, when you delete or remove a password from one device, it removes it on all devices.
