The longest cooking record holder Lata Tondon finally speaks on Hilda Baci breaking the record after cooking for over 100 hours non-stop.
Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, and a YouTuber, last week broke the world record for cooking which was recently held by Lata Tondon, a chef from India who completed a cooking marathon of 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
She set her own record of cooking for over 100 hours as she cooked over 100 dishes with her group and served it to the group waiting and cheering her on.
Nigerians were so proud of her and took their excitement to social media to make the world know about Hilda Baci, as well as campaigning for the Guinness Book of Records to announce Baci as the current holder of the Cooking Marathon record.
On account of this, the Guinness Book of Records posted on their Twitter account that, they are impressed with Baci’s record, but they need some time to verify the authenticity of the record.
Meanwhile, It was alleged that Nigerians harassed Tondon on her Instagram account by making some awful comments on her posts.
However, the record holder Lata Tondon shares her concern about the trending news on social media on her Instagram account.
In her post, she said, ” A Humble Request to all my Sisters and Brothers in Nigeria and India to maintain peace and wait for Guinness to officially announce if the Current Record is broken or not. Please don’t make it a Competition it’s just a Record my friends. I am a peace loving person and I wish same for you.”
