Godwin Adu Boahene, popularly known as Sharkboy, is a rising Ghanaian YouTuber who has been in the business for over two years and is loved by many Ghanaians for his pranks.
He hails from Brofoyedru in the Central Region and resides in Spintex. He went to the University of Ghana, Legon. He is one of the fastest-growing YouTubers in Ghana and has won many awards as a result of what he does. He is also a coach for Red Army Girls in Ashesi Univsersity.
Realizing the high rate of cheating in relationships, Sharkboy started his pranks to expose cheating partners in a relationship. He makes people call their partners anonymously to mention their names for a an amount of GHS1000, just to make sure they’re the only people they’re dating or going out with.
This has revealed a lot of cheating and unfaithful partners. He has also used his platform to solve and crushed a lot of relationships. Even though some are heartbroken at the end of each episode, they get to know whom they refer to as their “boyfriend” or “girlfriend.”
He has a subscriber base of 152k followers on his Youtube page, Campus With Sharkboy. Sharkboy has become many Ghanaians’ favorite for what he does. He is also known as the the “Relationship mafia”. His target is solely the youth on campuses and the streets. He has interviewed a lot of people on many of the campuses, like the University of Ghana, KNUST, and UPSA, just to mention a few.
As part of his pranks, he also makes short skits, interviews, and podcasts, which he started in 2021.
Sharkboy works tirelessly to achieve his aim and goal of creating his YouTube page, “Campus with Sharkboy,” which is to be an inspiration to many and has become the hope of many Ghanaian youth. His funny skits have put smiles and laughter on the lips of people in Ghana and across the world.
And his interactive interviews have made many youths voice their choice of partners they would prefer to have in their relationship.
He has won many awards like the YouTube Silver Play Button (For reaching 100k subscribers), Entertainment channel of the year at YouTube creators awards Ghana 2022, Discovery YouTuber of the year at the Ghana Tertiary Talents awards 2022 and Ashesi Womens’ champions league with Red Army Girls, due to his persistency, creativity and hard works.
In conclusion, Sharkboy is a true inspiration. His talent, hard work, and dedication to what he does have earned him success and spotlights in the entertainment industry. He continues to use his platform to inspire and empower the youth when it comes to relationships. Whether on the screen or in person, Sharkboy is fun and an interesting personality to be around.
His sense of humor is very high, and his benevolent nature will make you love him more for what he does. Sharkboy is a force to be considered, and his impact will be felt in the years to come.
