WABetaInfo is announcing a new stealth mode for WhatsApp users that will allow them to hide their online status. The new feature will allow you to conceal your “last seen” even when you are “online” & using the app.
This follows news after WhatsApp announced a few weeks ago that it is working on a new feature that will allow users to edit messages even when sent.
According to WABetainfo, “There may be different reasons why people want to use WhatsApp in stealth mode.”
“Some users want to use WhatsApp without being disturbed by other people.
“Or they feel stalked by someone.”
Although the date for this upgrade has not yet been communicated yet, current beta testers will have the first feel when this update is released to the general public in the next few months.
