In the world of smartphones, almost all of us know about only the big names. We have the likes of the iPhone from the Mac OS side and names like Samsung, Tecno, Infinix, and Itel from the Android side. Over the years, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding Apple and Android, especially the iPhone and Samsung. As the years went by, the scope of comparison keeps on getting bigger, and better. We now have flagships like the Google Pixel, Nokia, and more; also being added to the competition. Amongst these phones is one underrated flagship that has quickly begun rising to the top, China’s Xiaomi.
Xiaomi is an electronics and Smart manufacturing company that has made a lot of smartphones and smart hardware connected by an IoT platform at its core. It was founded in April 2010 but wasn’t really making headlines globally until 2018.
Xiaomi started making waves in the smartphone market with their Redmi and Redmi Note phones. Their phones have an impressive display, have very fast refresh rates, and very long-lasting battery life. Currently, Xiaomi is the second-biggest smartphone company in the world, trailing behind Samsung and even ahead of Apple.
