Nigerian Afro-pop singer Inyanya shares his perspective on Yvonne Nelson’s book and the revelation made in the book about him.
In Yvonne Nelson’s book themed “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson”, she revealed her past relationship with the Nigerian Afro-pop singer Inyanya.
According to Yvonne Nelson, her relationship with Inyanya was great and she knew Inyanya was the man she could spend her entire life with when he tattooed her initials on his wrist YN.
“We had a decent relationship. breakfast in bed and all the niceties of a dream relationship one could think of. I had the assurance that he was someone I could be with forever. He tattooed my initials, YN, on his wrist, and I thought that was a big deal. If he wasn’t serious about the relationship he wouldn’t do that. In his hit song, “Ur Waist”, he mentioned how he lusted over me”.
Her relationship with Inyanya turned out to be based on lies when she received a call from an unknown person informing her of another actress visiting Inyanya when she comes to Ghana. She revealed that the actress in question was Tonto Dikeh.
In an exclusive interview, Inyanya disclosed that Yvonne Nelson is a sweet girl, and he is sure her book is doing well because everyone is talking about it. In addition, he also shared that if he had the chance to write a book, he would just let people know about his life and how he has overcome his challenges.
“That girl is a sweet girl, I can’t rate her book because I have not read it, so can’t rate it, but I am sure it is doing well obviously because everybody is talking about it.”He said.
He was however asked by the host if it is a good thing for anyone in the movie industry to also publish a book for people to learn from their life.
“If I ever put out a book, I won’t call people’s names out, I will just talk about my life, I do not have to tell you about who I have had this and that with that. I guess we are all different, I will just tell you about my challenges as a human being and how I overcame those challenges”. He responded.
